Bismarck, ND – April, 2024 – Earlier today, the North Dakota Secretary of State approved New Economic Frontier to begin collecting signatures for a ballot measure petition to legalize adult-use cannabis responsibly in North Dakota.
This measure aims to legalize cannabis in North Dakota and promises significant benefits, such as creating jobs, generating revenue, and ensuring safe consumption through product regulation. Additionally, it will remove access barriers for those looking to benefit from the medicinal qualities of cannabis. Overall, the measure offers a comprehensive, responsible approach to cannabis legalization with wide-ranging positive impacts.
To qualify for the November ballot, 15,582 signatures must be gathered from eligible North Dakota voters by July 8th, 2024.
Gathering signatures for the ballot measure is crucial to make sure that everyone’s voice is heard. Each signature collected shows support for legalizing adult-use cannabis in North Dakota and allows voters the opportunity to make their decision in November.
“Every signature gathered is a step forward towards progress and fairness, showing lawmakers that change is needed. By collecting signatures, we’re empowering our communities and making sure our voices count. Together, we’re making history and shaping a bright future for our state’s economy.”
As the campaign gears up for the signature-gathering phase, New Economic Frontier is actively seeking passionate individuals to join the team as petition circulators.
